# §2231a. Reimbursement of employees for costs of State licenses and certification fees


On and after October 28, 1991, notwithstanding any other provision of law, any appropriations or [funds](/usc/7/4531.md?p=5) available to the agencies of the Department of Agriculture may be used to reimburse employees for the cost of [State](/usc/7/1359aa.md?p=5) [licenses](/usc/7/2009cc.md?p=6) and certification fees pursuant to their Department of Agriculture position and that are necessary to comply with [State](/usc/7/1359aa.md?p=5) laws, regulations, and requirements.
