# §178j. Laws governing inventions under this subchapter


Relative to the definitions of, title to, and licensing of inventions made or conceived in the course of or under any [contract](/usc/7/518.md?p=4) or grant pursuant to this subchapter, and notwithstanding any other provisions of law, the provisions of sections [5908](/usc/42/5908.md) and [5909](/usc/42/5909.md) of title 42 shall govern.
