# §124e. Training for employees of intelligence components


The [Secretary](/usc/6/101.md?p=16) shall provide training and guidance for employees, officials, and senior executives of the intelligence components of the [Department](/usc/6/101.md?p=5) to develop knowledge of laws, regulations, operations, policies, procedures, and programs that are related to the [functions](/usc/6/101.md?p=9) of the [Department](/usc/6/101.md?p=5) relating to the collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination of information within the scope of the [information sharing environment](/usc/6/124h.md?p=k-2), including [homeland security information](/usc/6/126.md?p=g-2), [terrorism information](/usc/6/124h.md?p=k-5), and weapons of mass destruction information, or national intelligence (as defined in [section 3003(5) of title 50](/usc/50/3003.md?p=5)).
