# §11112. Master’s lien for wages


The [master](/usc/46/10101.md?p=1) of a [documented vessel](/usc/46/106.md) has the same lien against the [vessel](/usc/46/115.md) for the [master](/usc/46/10101.md?p=1)’s wages and the same priority as any other [seaman](/usc/46/10101.md?p=3) serving on the [vessel](/usc/46/115.md).
