# §513. Lands in project subject to provisions of chapter; after contract with irrigation district


Upon the execution of any contract between the United States and any irrigation [district](/usc/43/316a.md?p=2) pursuant to sections [511](/usc/43/511.md) and [512](/usc/43/512.md) of this title the [public lands](/usc/43/155.md?p=1) included within such irrigation [district](/usc/43/316a.md?p=2), when subject to entry, and entered lands within such irrigation [district](/usc/43/316a.md?p=2), for which no final certificates shall have been issued and which may be designated by the [Secretary](/usc/43/31b.md?p=7) of the Interior in said contract, shall be subject to all the provisions of [chapter 13](/usc/43/ch13.md) of this title: Provided, That no map or plan as required by [section 623 of this title](/usc/43/623.md) need be filed by the irrigation [district](/usc/43/316a.md?p=2) for approval by the [Secretary](/usc/43/31b.md?p=7) of the Interior.
