# §1471e. Reimbursement of employee license costs and certification fees


Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in fiscal year 1993 and thereafter, appropriations or [funds](/usc/43/1602.md?p=k) available to the Department of the Interior or the Forest Service, Department of Agriculture, may be used to reimburse employees for the cost of [State](/usc/43/31b.md?p=8) licenses and certification fees pursuant to their employment and that are necessary to comply with [State](/usc/43/31b.md?p=8) or Federal laws, regulations, or requirements.
