# §19082. Reviews


The [Director](/usc/42/18981.md?p=2) shall periodically carry out reviews within each of the directorates and divisions to assess the cost and benefits of extending the operations of research [facilities](/usc/42/11049.md?p=4) that have exceeded their planned operational lifespan.
