# §1383f. Annual report on program

- (a) **In general—** Not later than May 30 of each year, the [Commissioner](/usc/42/12302.md?p=1) of [Social](/usc/42/1397j.md?p=20) Security shall prepare and deliver a report annually to the President and the Congress regarding the [program](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) under this subchapter, [including](/usc/42/1301.md?p=b)—
  - (1) a comprehensive description of the [program](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4);
  - (2) historical and current data on allowances and denials, [including](/usc/42/1301.md?p=b) number of applications and allowance rates for initial determinations, reconsideration determinations, administrative law judge hearings, appeals [council](/usc/42/300f.md?p=9) reviews, and Federal court decisions;
  - (3) historical and current data on characteristics of [recipients](/usc/42/2996a.md?p=6) and [program](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) costs, by [recipient](/usc/42/2996a.md?p=6) group (aged, blind, disabled adults, and disabled [children](/usc/42/256e.md?p=g-2));
  - (4) historical and current data on prior enrollment by [recipients](/usc/42/2996a.md?p=6) in public benefit [programs](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4), [including](/usc/42/1301.md?p=b) [State](/usc/42/1397n–12.md?p=6) [programs](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) funded under part A of subchapter IV of this chapter and [State](/usc/42/1397n–12.md?p=6) general assistance [programs](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4);
  - (5) projections of future number of [recipients](/usc/42/2996a.md?p=6) and [program](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) costs, through at least 25 years;
  - (6) number of redeterminations and continuing disability reviews, and the outcomes of such redeterminations and reviews;
  - (7) data on the utilization of work incentives;
  - (8) detailed information on administrative and other [program](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) operation costs;
  - (9) summaries of relevant research undertaken by the [Social](/usc/42/1397j.md?p=20) Security [Administration](/usc/42/1301.md?p=a-10), or by other researchers;
  - (10) [State](/usc/42/1397n–12.md?p=6) supplementation [program](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) operations;
  - (11) a historical summary of statutory changes to this subchapter; and
  - (12) such other information as the [Commissioner](/usc/42/12302.md?p=1) deems useful.
- (b) **Views of individual members of Social Security Advisory Board—** Each member of the [Social](/usc/42/1397j.md?p=20) Security Advisory [Board](/usc/42/10261.md?p=2) shall be permitted to provide an individual report, or a joint report if agreed, of views of the [program](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) under this subchapter, to be included in the annual report required under this section.
