# §13495. Authorization of appropriations


There are authorized to be appropriated to the [Secretary](/usc/42/13201.md) for carrying out this part $212,804,000 for fiscal year 1993 and such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 1994. Amounts authorized or otherwise made available for [program](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) direction, space reactor power systems, advanced radioisotope power systems, and the space exploration [initiative](/usc/42/19131.md?p=1) under nuclear [energy](/usc/42/6311.md?p=7) research and development shall be in addition to the amounts authorized in the preceding sentence.
