# §12252. Eligibility to receive grants


To be eligible to receive a grant under [section 12251 of this title](/usc/34/12251.md), a [State](/usc/34/12242.md) shall submit to the Attorney General an application at such time, in such form, and containing such information as the Attorney General reasonably may require by rule.
