# §10474. Applications


To request funds under this subchapter, the [chief executive](/usc/34/10251.md?p=a-12) or the chief justice of a [State](/usc/34/10105.md) or the [chief executive](/usc/34/10251.md?p=a-12) or chief judge of a [unit of local government](/usc/34/10251.md?p=a-3) or Indian [tribal government](/usc/34/30107.md?p=a-3) shall submit to the [Attorney General](/usc/34/10251.md?p=a-15) an application in such form and containing such information as the [Attorney General](/usc/34/10251.md?p=a-15) may reasonably require.
