# §523. Requisitions


The Attorney General shall sign all requisitions for the advance or payment of moneys appropriated for the [Department](/usc/28/451.md) of Justice, out of the Treasury, subject to the same control as is exercised on like estimates or accounts by the Government Accountability Office.
