# §63. Consolidation of agencies


The President may, in his discretion, consolidate two or more agencies into one, and where [Indians](/usc/25/1934.md) are located on [reservations](/usc/25/2902.md?p=8) created by Executive order he may, with the consent of the [tribes](/usc/25/3402.md?p=2-A) to be affected thereby, expressed in the usual manner, consolidate one or more [tribes](/usc/25/3402.md?p=2-A), and abolish such agencies as are thereby rendered unnecessary.
