# §4355. Effect


Nothing in this chapter alters, or demonstrates congressional support for the alteration of, the legal relationship between the United States and any American [Indian](/usc/25/1934.md), Alaska [Native](/usc/25/5802.md?p=5), or [Native](/usc/25/5802.md?p=5) Hawaiian individual, group, organization, or entity.
