# §6942. Purpose


The purpose of this part is to authorize additional resources for the agencies and departments engaged in monitoring and enforcement of [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) trade [agreements](/usc/22/2431a.md?p=7) and trade laws with respect to the People’s Republic of China.
