# §6043. Expulsion of criminals from Cuba


The President shall instruct all [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) Government officials who engage in official contacts with the [Cuban Government](/usc/22/6023.md?p=5-A) to raise on a regular basis the extradition of or rendering to the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) all [persons](/usc/22/6023.md?p=11) residing in Cuba who are sought by the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) Department of Justice for crimes committed in the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1).
