# §290p. Acceptance of statute and membership


For fiscal year 2011 and thereafter, the President is authorized to accept the statute of, and to maintain membership of the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) in, the International Renewable Energy Agency, and the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1)’ assessed contributions to maintain such membership may be paid from [funds](/usc/22/2431a.md?p=9) appropriated for “Contributions to [International Organizations](/usc/22/4316.md?p=e-2)”.
