# §286e–3. Transfers to stabilization fund of purchase of currencies or gold from International Monetary Fund; administration; utilization of fund resources for repayments


Any purchases of currencies or gold by the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) from the International Monetary [Fund](/usc/22/2431a.md?p=9) may be transferred to and administered by the [fund](/usc/22/2431a.md?p=9) established by [section 5302 of title 31](/usc/31/5302.md), for use in accordance with the provisions of that section. The [Secretary](/usc/22/277d–43.md?p=5) of the Treasury is authorized to utilize the resources of that [fund](/usc/22/2431a.md?p=9) for the purpose of any repayments in connection with such transactions.
