# §283hh. Effectiveness of agreement


Article VI, section 4(c), and article VII, [sections 2 to 9](/usc/22/2..9.md), both inclusive, of the [agreement](/usc/22/2431a.md?p=7) shall have full force and effect in the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1), its territories and possessions, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, upon acceptance of membership by the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) in the [Corporation](/usc/22/7702.md?p=6).
