# §275. International Hydrographic Bureau


To enable the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) to become a member of the International Hydrographic Bureau, and for the first annual contribution of the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) toward the creation and maintenance of such bureau, there is hereby appropriated out of money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated $2,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to be paid by the Secretary of State when the exact quota shall have been ascertained.
