# §262e. Comparability of salaries and benefits of employees of international financial institutions with employees of American private business and governmental service


The President shall direct the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) [Executive Directors](/usc/22/10601.md?p=5) of such [international financial institutions](/usc/22/262r.md?p=c-2) to take all appropriate actions to keep the salaries and benefits of the [employees](/usc/22/4341.md?p=1) of such institutions to levels comparable to salaries and benefits of [employees](/usc/22/4341.md?p=1) of private business and the [United States](/usc/22/1395.md?p=a-1) Government in comparable positions.
