# §76g. Authorization of appropriations


There are authorized to be appropriated annually such sums as may be necessary to maintain and administer the Gallery, including the salaries of the [Director](/usc/20/9101.md?p=3) and of other necessary [officers](/usc/20/1094.md?p=i-5) and employees, and for special public exhibitions at Washington and elsewhere.
