# §2215. Gift Shop

- (a) **Establishment—** The Architect of the Capitol, acting through the Chief Executive Officer, shall establish a Capitol Visitor [Center](/usc/2/1102.md?p=1) Gift Shop within the Capitol Visitor [Center](/usc/2/1102.md?p=1) for the purpose of providing for the sale of gift items. All moneys received from sales and other services by the Capitol Visitor [Center](/usc/2/1102.md?p=1) Gift Shop shall be deposited in the Capitol Visitor [Center](/usc/2/1102.md?p=1) Revolving [Fund](/usc/2/1102.md?p=3) established under [section 2231 of this title](/usc/2/2231.md) and shall be available for purposes of this section.
- (b) **Exception to prohibition of sale or solicitation on Capitol grounds—** [Section 5104(c) of title 40](/usc/40/5104.md?p=c) shall not apply to any activity carried out under this section.
