# §4112. Loss of rights, disqualification


An [offender](/usc/18/4101.md?p=e) transferred to the [United States](/usc/18/5.md) to serve a [sentence](/usc/18/4101.md?p=h) imposed by a foreign court shall not incur any [loss](/usc/18/1037.md?p=d-1) of civil, political, or civic rights nor incur any disqualification other than those which under the laws of the [United States](/usc/18/5.md) or of the [State](/usc/18/4101.md?p=i) in which the issue arises would result from the fact of the conviction in the foreign country.
