# §217. Change in name of Abraham Lincoln National Park


The Abraham Lincoln [National Park](/usc/16/410hhh–1.md?p=5), in the [State](/usc/16/6456.md?p=2) of Kentucky, authorized by [sections 211 to 214](/usc/16/211..214.md) of this title, shall hereafter be called and known as the “Abraham Lincoln National [Historical Park](/usc/16/410eee–1.md?p=1)”, and all moneys heretofore or hereafter appropriated for this [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) under previous designations may be used in this [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) as redesignated.

Abraham Lincoln National Historical Park was renamed Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site by Pub. L. 86–231, Sept. 8, 1959, 73 Stat. 466, and then was renamed Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park by Pub. L. 111–11, title VII, § 7114(a), Mar. 30, 2009, 123 Stat. 1202.
