# §8232. Severability


If any section or subsection of this chapter, or any [application](/usc/15/77ccc.md?p=8) of such provision to any [person](/usc/15/78m.md?p=h-8-E) or circumstance, is held to be unconstitutional, the remainder of this chapter, and the [application](/usc/15/77ccc.md?p=8) of the provision to any other [person](/usc/15/78m.md?p=h-8-E) or circumstance, shall not be affected.
