# §31. Rights and liabilities as affected by change of name


All debts, liabilities, rights, provisions, and powers of the [association](/usc/12/1828.md?p=s-4-E-i) under its old name shall devolve upon and inure to the [association](/usc/12/1828.md?p=s-4-E-i) under its new name.
