# §2149. Lending limits


The Farm [Credit](/usc/12/5481.md?p=7) Administration may not establish lending limits for the consolidated [bank](/usc/12/1426a.md?p=g-1) with respect to any loans or borrowers that are more restrictive than the combined lending limits that were previously established by the Farm [Credit](/usc/12/5481.md?p=7) Administration for the constituent [banks](/usc/12/221a.md?p=a) described in section 413(b) of the Agricultural Credit Act of 1987 ([12 U.S.C. 2121](/usc/12/2121.md) note; Public Law 100–233) with respect to such loans or borrowers.
